The audio of '3' will be launched in Chennai . Top stars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, who were expected to grace the event, are unlikely to take part in the function.

The movie is directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, daughter of Rajinikanth and it will see actor Dhanush and Sruthi Haasan in the lead roles.Shruthi is the daughter of top actor Kamal Haasan The music is composed by Anirudh.

It was rumoured that both Rajini and Kamal would grace the occasion. But now it is revealed that both would not turn up for the event.

It  would be a youthful affair with the playback singers crooning the songs and Dhanush performing live the chartbuster song 'Why Dis Kolaveri Di' on the stage.

The movie is almost complete and is expected to hit the screens in February.
