Director Lingusamy is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film 'Vettai'. Meanwhile, sources say that the filmmaker, has got the chance to direct Kamal Haasan.

Sources further say that the script is going to be by ace filmmaker Shankar. Lingusamy is confident that the movie would be made in a huge budget.

Kamal Haasan is currently busy working in 'Viswaroopam'. Directed and enacted by Kamal Haasan himself, the movie is being shot in USA now.

Lingusamy's 'Vettai' will be releasing in January as a big release for Pongal.
