It was all out of sudden when Hrithik Roshan revealed about his father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan  undergoing throat surgery after being diagnosed with cancer.

As of now, Rishi Kapoor and Rakesh have been friends for over 40 years, on the surgery news, Rishi also went on to share the picture of his old friend and wrote "Way to go Roshans! All is well!" Neetu Kapoor, the wife of the 'Mulk' actor also captioned a family picture on Instagram and wrote "Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign."

Having starred together in the 1975 blockbuster film- 'Khel Khel Mein' in an interview to a leading daily, when the 'Koi Mil Gaya' director was asked about Rishi, he said, "For Rishi and me, everything is Khel Khel Mein."

Hrithik had shared the news sharing a picture alongside his father and wrote "Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn't miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family, we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him." 

A day later after the surgery, Hrithik even shared a group picture with family including daddy and thanked fans for their blessings.
