Ramya Barne, the actress currently in huge demand, has decided to follow the footsteps of actress Pooja Gandhi. Ramya is interested in taking up social work. She wants to work for women in distress. “As of now, I am not able to spend liberally on the social causes. I am following the work of Pooja Gandhi. I will follow her when time and money permits me," says Ramya Barne.

About her film career Ramya adds, “I believe in the theory of slow and steady wins the race". In Yogaraj Bhat's 'Paramathma' the actress will be seen in a negative shade. Ramya is firm on her opinion that staying in the film with a lively performance is important. She of course wants to play the lead but says that will happen gradually. Ramya has acted in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Tulu films and we hope to see more and more of her work soon.
