It seems that the biopic fever has gripped Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor who is obsessed with the idea of personifying stories of legends on screen.

It all started with the news of Ranbir and his 'Barfi' director Anurag Basu planning a biopic on the legendary actor-musician-filmmaker Kishore Kumar. Though it didn't go on floors as per the original plan but both are confident of it being made. 

Later came the news that Sanjay Dutt wants Ranbir to play him onscreen in a biopic on the former to be directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Following this, came the report which said that makers of the biopic on sports star Dhyan Chand have approached Ranbir to play the part. 

However, no news of further development came on Sanjay Dutt and Dhyan Chand's biopics. And now there is yet another biopic in offer for Ranbir.

This time the offer is to star in a biopic that is being made on the extravagant life of Amrish Puri. Ranbir especially is excited with this offer as he has been an Amrish Puri fan ever since he can remember.

He is keen to do the film but nothing has been finalized as yet. The finer details of the project are still being worked upon.

It remains to be seen if it eventually sees the light of the day or remains on the to-do biopics list of Ranbir.
