With the first trailer already on air, the makers will soon release the upbeat number, titled 'Pyaar ki Ghanti'.
According to an insider from the production unit, the actor recently took two days leave to check out the first cut of the video.
The insider says, "This song will be his introduction in the film and Ranbir wants to entertain his audience with it. Recently, he flew down to Mumbai from Sri Lanka just to see the first cut of the video."
The source adds, "Ranbir is very involved in the production work. He is constantly in touch with the team and often checks on the progress of the post-production work. He has also been curious to know the reactions to the recently released promo of the film."
The spokesperson of the film says, "Ranbir is very excited about the film. 'Pyaar ki ghanti' is his introductory song and it depicts the spirit of his character."
