In an age where actors give each other a cold shoulder and develop hatred for contemporaries due to competition, Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan might be on the way to create a different history of sorts. 

While every big actor is continuously working on beating rivals in terms of films and promotions, Ranbir has agreed to promote Vidya Balan's upcoming film 'Bobby Jasoos'. 

Co-Produced by Dia Mirza, the film has the national award winning actress playing an ambitious detective. 

In the near future, Ranbir too has a film coming up titled 'Jagga Jasoos' where he plays a similar role. And this similarity triggered an idea in Dia's mind. 

She immediately approached Ranbir to promote her film starring Vidya, citing the fact that it would make an interesting publicity for both the films made on a similar concept. 

As for the promotions, Ranbir will be recording a series of short videos that will be uploaded online. 

While Vidya will single-handedly manage the on-ground promotions and media interactions, Ranbir's videos will have him talk about how 'Bobby Jasoos' has solutions to all his problems.

Now that's sure to be a hit with the masses.
