Rani Mukerji who will be in Ahmedabad on August 16 for the promotions of her upcoming release 'Mardaani', will be visiting the Ambaji temple there.

This will be the first time any Bollywood celebrity would be visiting this temple to seek blessings.

The temple visit was not a part of their schedule but Rani especially asked her team to make arrangements for the temple visit. The actress is very keen to visit the temple and take blessings of goddess Ambaji who is seen as a symbol of shakti (power).

The Ambaji temple is one of the most holy and sacred temples in Ahmedabad.
