Veteran actor-writer Kader Khan no more

A golden era of the 80's and the 90's redefined by the hilarious comic timing of a man who had enhanced many of the films by his presence. Kader Khan who made his debut in acting with 'Daag', starring Rajesh Khanna in the lead role in 1973. After which Khan went on to work in over 300 films and even contributed to cinema through his writing. Along with being a success actor he also nailed it with his impeccable dialogue writing skills. 

The legendary figure Kader Khan passed away aged 81 at a hospital in Canada. He was suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a degenerative disease that causes loss of balance, difficulty in walking and dementia.

Everyone from the film fraternity as well as the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi tweeted their condolences for the veteran actor. Here are the tweets

Anupam Kher-  Saab was one of the finest actors of our country. It was a joy and a learning experience to be on the sets with him. His improvisational skills were phenomenal. His humour was eternal and original. He was a wonderful writer. We will miss him & his brilliance.
