Ranveer Singh upset for 'Lootera', happy for Deepika

Ranveer Singh has been one outspoken actor who wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn't hesitate to express his feelings. He has confessed that often his candid conversations have landed him in a soup but he doesn't refrain from calling a spade a spade.
This was yet again proven when he expressed his disappointment over his critically acclaimed film
'Lootera' being ignored by the famous film awards.
Nonetheless, he confessed that he is honored with the nomination in the 'Best Actor' category and is delighted with
Deepika Padukone's success.
"I am extremely happy and honored to be nominated in the Best Actor category alongside great actors. But at the same time I am disappointed that my other film 'Lootera' has been ignored as it deserved more nominations than what it got. I am sure that my performance in 'Lootera' was at par with my performance in 'Ram-Leela'. I am upset that 'Lootera' has been underrated," stated Ranveer.
However, he said that he is extremely proud of his
'Ram-Leela' co-star Deepika Padukone and is pretty sure that she will take home all the best actress awards this season.
