Bollywood's most celebrated and popular stunt director, Veeru Devgan breathe his last on Monday morning i.e. on May 27, 2019 in Mumbai.

According to reports carried by leading publications it was said that he was hospitalised in Surya Hospital, Santacruz; however the cause of his death is kept underwraps.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his Twitter handle, "Veeru Devgan passed away this morning [27 May 2019]... Father of Ajay Devgn... Veeru ji was an accomplished action director... Also directed #HindustanKiKasam, starring son Ajay with Amitabh Bachchan... Funeral will be held today at 6 pm... Heartfelt condolences to Devgn family."

Veeru had introduced his son and now superstar Ajay Devgn in B-Town with the movie 'Phool Aur Kante'. The action director post his son's flourishing career barely made public appearances due to his health issues. 

Several Bollywood celebs have already gathered at Ajay's residence and the funeral will take place today in the evening itself.
