Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell renewed their wedding vows yesterday.

Rebecca and Jerry wed in 2007. Yesterday did not mark their wedding anniversary, but the numbers that the date range fell on are personally significant for the couple.

"[Friday was 11/11/11. Anytime the clock says 11:11, we think of each other and our two two-year-old twin daughters Charlie and Dolly and we usually text each other," Rebecca told Us Weekly magazine. "It's a nice reminder of family, and it happens twice a day!"

Rebecca and Jerry spent a romantic day together in New York City. They were more interested in spending time with each other than hosting a lavish affair.

"It seemed natural to renew our vows at 11:11 a.m. on 11th St. and 11th Ave. Friday morning," Rebecca described. "It wasn't anything fancy, but it did feel intimate and surprisingly emotional. And comfy."

Rebecca had one specific request that she posed to her husband yesterday.

"I asked that we both wear corduroy, the fabric of 11/11/11!" she quipped.

Jerry honoured Rebecca with a very special present to celebrate their vow renewal.

"Jerry gave me a Swarovski crystal Lulu Guinness clutch to commemorate the occasion. I never thought Swarovski and corduroy would go together, but this morning they did!"
