January 13, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): The business house RBNL or the Reliance Broadcast Network Limited which is a part of the ADAG or the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group has officially stated on Wednesday the 12th of January that it is in the process of taking over the 24 hour music channel Imagine Showbiz Ltd. In order to create a greater scope for their company in terms of media related content in the consumer sector.

Imagine Showbiz is a 24 hour channel which has an amazing collection of Bollywood songs and has an extremely well stocked library of its own.

According to tabloid reports the authorities of the RNRL have stated that they are in the process of acquiring acquisition of the total shareholding of the intellectual property rights of the media content along with the entire know how of the distribution network system.

Further reports suggest that the business authorities from RNRL have also confirmed news that this acquisition will enable the company to spread out its wings on the Hindi segment as much as they have in the English segment through the channel Big CBS Prime.

The decision to venture into this segment by the RNRL has reportedly come due to the vast opportunity of the immense synergies that the two companys share amongst which are included the Radio, the entire stock of entertainment content etc.
