January 13, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Reports are rife that actor Alfred Molina gets a chance to play the role of a detective in NBCs Law & Order: Los Angeles. Alfred is already there on the show and dons the garb of a district attorney. However, Molina will switch roles to get into the role of a detective on NBCs Law & Order. There is going to be a sudden twist to the tale. Molina who essays the role of Ricardo Morales will be shown a someone who has spend fifteen years in the police department and earned the rank of a detective with the passage of time. In course of time his frustrations as a prosecutor rises steadily and he then decides to get back to the police force.
Terrence Howard, who switched roles with Alfred, will be present on all the episodes. In an interview, the Executive Producer of NBCs Law & Order, Dick Wolf ,added that he was fortunate enough to have two great actors on board as it also helped him to get rid of the feeling of uneasiness of being able to have any one of them every week.
Reports are also trickling in that Ulrich, Regina Hall and Megan Boone will finally be quitting the show.The show is already in the middle of the first season. Molina will step into the shoes of Ulrich who is bidding goodbye to the series. Hall and Boone play prosecutors in the series.
We wonder if Alfred can pull everything in his favour.
