Richa Chadda finally goes solo

Richa Chadda is known for her distinctive roles in the industry as the choices of her films were quite unconventional. The actress, who has been a part of multi starrer films since her debut, is all set for her first solo release 'Tamanchey' at the box office this weekend.

With no Godfather and no filmy background, the actress has managed to carve herself a niche in the industry on her own. Model, theatre artiste and now an actress, Richa is gradually climbing the ladder. 

'Oye Lucky Lucky Oye' marked her debut in the glamour world. And then Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' gave her a new title 'Ms. Fire', for her pivotal role of Nagaam Khatoon that went on to set a benchmark in the industry.

Richa got several nominations and bagged a Filmfare award for best actress critics in 2013. Post that there was no looking back for her. She even stood out in the multi starrer 'Fukrey' for portraying a promising role.

She bagged awards for best actress in comic and negative roles at Screen awards and Star Guild Awards respectively. Richa appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie 'Ram-Leela', in which she played the character of Raseela.

Her strong and bold act got her loads of appreciations and now with 'Tamanchey' being her first solo movie, her loyal fans are waiting for it.

Post 'Tamanchey', Richa will be seen in 'Main Aur Charles', 'Ishqeria', 'Aur Devdas' and 'Mr. Chaalu'.
