Ringo Starr says that he has thrown up many times before hitting the stage.
The Beatles drummer has been in the entertainment industry for over 50 years but says that he's been struggling to perform onstage since he was with the Fab Four.
He told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper that he is incredibly nervous before getting the microphone in his hands.
"I have actually puked before I went on as all my nerves come to the fore," the 71-year-old said.
"It is part of what I am and it happens before every show. There have been times that I just wanted to go back to bed as I just get so nervous.
"Every night I just hope that tonight is the night when I am going to feel like Frank Sinatra. I hope, You are just going to stroll on,' but I haven't made it yet I always run."
But Ringo added that as soon as he gets the mic in his hand then he tends to calm down.
The legendary musician is currently promoting his 17th solo album titled Ringo 2012 and will be touring this summer with his All-Starr band.
