Rishi's uncomfortable moment with Prithviraj

13th May 2013

Calling elders by their first name is considered to be offensive in the Indian culture, especially when it is someone in your family. Ironically, actor Rishi Kapoor was stuck in a predicament during the shoot of his film 'Aurangzeb' specifically when working with his co-star Prithviraj.

Rishi, who had to work closely with Prithviraj when shooting for multiple scenes as they both are playing cops in the movie, was put in a 'self-imposed' uncomfortable spot when he had to address the actor by his name.

It sure baffled the crew initially, who thought that there was probably some history between the two actors. But Rishi came out in the open to express that it was all good with Prithviraj, and it was his own discomfort when calling the actor by his first name as it also happens to be the name of his late grandfather.

Rishi got over it in a few days, and we hear that both have delivered highly impactful performances in the movie especially when sharing the same screen.
