As Ganesh Chaturthi is just a couple of days away everyone is gearing up to welcome their favourite lord ganesh after waiting for almost one year. While everyone has their own way of welcoming him, actor Riteish Deshmukh found out a quirky way where he released a song video titled 'Thank God Bappa.'
The video started trending as soon as it was released. Riteish shared the video on his twitter handle by tweeting, "Proudly presenting #ThankGodBappa https://youtu.be/4A7y-mMAA60 @geneliad @starpravah @mfc."
The video shows Riteish's take on the ganesh festival. He displays a message about how bappa(Lord Ganesh) is not like humans- uncaring, selfish and many more. Right from the first day to the day of bappa's immersion, Riteish explains how people dominate the lord in their own ways and still he showers his blessings on each one of them.
He also brings into light the universal truth that how the statues of the beloved lord are found in a wrecked state on almost every beach right after the day of immersion which only leads to rising pollution. This video is surely an eye-opener to all of us and Riteish is successful in conveying his message.
Forget the comedy actor in him, we have now found out a rapper Riteish and people are just loving every bit of him. Though the song is crooned in Marathi, it has English subtitles which helps us to understand the whole song. The lyrics of the song are by Kapil Sawant.
