(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson says he cant deal with the crazy crowds he encounters now.

The 24-year-old British actor became an international heartthrob through his role in the Twilight movie franchise playing moody vampire Edward Cullen, which also stars his real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

Roberts involvement in the hugely popular films has attracted him legions of admirers all over the world but has admitted he is now tired of the frenzied attention, and regularly avoids large groups of people.

Now I very rarely go in the entrances of places which is why it was crazier before," he explained. "I don't have time for the craziness anymore. Before it was kind of fun going through a big crowd when everyone is going crazy. It's an experience but eventually when you're just literally being rushed everywhere, you just can't deal with that."

Robert has previously admitted he would love to appear in a low-key theatre production but fears his enthusiastic fans could ruin it. The Hollywood star dreams of landing a stage role in his hometown of London, but is concerned his plans would be scuppered by fans who would be keen to photograph him.

"I love to do theatre stuff but right now I couldn't imagine it being a good experience. I just couldn't imagine it being anything other than people constantly taking photos and stuff, he said. I think it's too much for me to take. I need to have that separation. It's like there's too much energy in an audience." (C) Cover Media
