Farhan Akhtar's second installment of musical drama, 'Rock On 2' is going on the floors in August this year and the film is scheduled to release in September 2016.

The film was baffling for copyright battle and therefore, caused the delay. The film will have Shraddha Kapoor as lead actress while Arjun Rampal will reprise his role from the first installment.

Farhan and Shraddha will be lending their voices to all songs. The film will be shot in Shillong and Shraddha had recently been to the spot with their recee team to catch the nuance.
