(Cover) - EN Star Style - Rose Byrne admits wearing bold colours can be nerve-wracking.

The 31-year-old Australian actress looked stunning when she wore a bright pink Prabal Gurung shift dress to the premiere of comedy movie Bridesmaids, where she stars as Helen, last month.

The brunette beauty was anxious about donning such a shocking shade, although in the end she embraced being so outgoing.

"I was nervous," she told People. "But it was perfect gorgeous and modern."

The star cites a casual Tommy Hilfiger blouse and trouser combination as another of her favourite outfits. Rose often switches between highly feminine attire and a more androgynous look, which she thinks makes for an interesting aesthetic.

"I love dressing boyishly," she added.

Looking at a photograph of herself in a nude floor-length Ralph Lauren gown, Rose explained how she came up with the timeless look. The beauty had considered accessorising the frock with a belt, but in the end realised that wouldn't be necessary.

"I was debating whether to team with a belt, but decided against as it seemed more classic without," she added. (C) Cover Media
