28th April 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britains Prince William and his fiance Kate Middleton attended a private wedding rehearsal yesterday.

The pair will tie the knot at Westminster Abbey in London tomorrow and visited the venue last night for a run through of the ceremony. They were accompanied to the practice by Williams younger brother Harry, who will act as best man, and Kates parents Michael and Carole Middleton. Kates sister Pippa, who she has chosen as her maid of honour, was also present, along with her brother James.

The group stayed for 90 minutes and are believed to have met with senior clergy members, including the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams, who is marrying the couple.

Hundreds of devoted royalists have already gathered outside Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, choosing to camp out so they can secure a prime view for the wedding.

William has been spotted riding a Ducati motorbike through London. He laughed and joked with his friends at a park in the city as he took part in a game of soccer, and showed no signs of pre-wedding nerves.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister David Cameron has revealed he has chosen a non-traditional wedding gift for the couple. The leader who is expected to attend the nuptials selected a book detailing the area where William and Kate will spend the first months of their married life.

"William is currently serving in Anglesey, which is a small island off the coast of Wales where he does search and rescue, flies a helicopter," David told CBS. "I've got him a present to do with Anglesey.

"It's a lovely book and beautiful photographs and things like that. So that's what I'm giving."

It has also been revealed award-winning British singer Ellie Goulding will be performing at the royal wedding reception tomorrow. The couple are believed to be huge fans of the 24-year-old star and think she will be the perfect choice to entertain their guests.

"Her music goes down well with the young ones, plus a few of the older guests will be nodding their heads along, a source told British newspaper The Sun. "They really wanted a top British talent and the couple are delighted Ellie agreed to perform. She can't wait - although she's a tad nervous."

Kate is believed to have been practising her new signature in preparation for married life. Queen Elizabeth II will be announcing an official title for the couple tomorrow. (C) Cover Media
