November 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): After the conclusion of their much talked-about Indian Hindu wedding, newlyweds Russell Brand and Katy Perry were off to the Maldives for their honeymoon. Alls well between the couple apart from the fact that they are not really enjoying their honeymoon. Why? Because of a bugging spider! If reports are to be believed, singer Katy Perry was bitten by a spider while on her stay at a Maldives resort and the rashes that occurred on her body as a result of the bite, left her in no position to have freaky sex with her comedian husband.

Reports circulating in the media claim that the spider bite was so venomous that singer Katy Perry had to take very strong medicines to overcome the pain. And the medication was so strong that it left the singer sleepy as soon as she hit bed! The result? No sex for the newly married couple!

Katy Perry must be really biting her fingers now, considering that she had forcefully restrained herself from having sex with her husband. The singer, in her effort to follow the rituals of a Hindu wedding a little too seriously, had forbidden Russell Brand to touch her so that they may reunite after marriage with renewed energy and interest in each other. Little did they know that a spider would spoil their sexcapades post marriage!
