A film on rising inflation without any logic!!

Strange but true, inflation is taking over the country more than the population and it is becoming very hard for a common man to survive with all these expenses.

So while debut director Anshul Sharman talks about living in a country that is dealing with growing expenses, he fails to apply logic to a so called satirical.

The Pal family consisting of Nagpal (Vishwa Mohan Badola), Puttanpal (Sanjai Mishra), Noori (Pragati Pandey) and Gopal (Ranjan Chhabra) are trying to make ends meet.

While Puttanpal is a middle-aged man working for a government run Animal Breeding Centre, his wife Noori owns a Beauty Parlor in her house. Puttanpal's younger brother Gopal is good for nothing as he is trying hard to pass his class XII exams.

When everything appears bleak to the 'Pal' family with the rising inflation, Puttan's colleague offers him an idea – one that would change their lives for the better.

Apparently, the idea is that the government is giving Rs 1 lakh loan without any interest for three years to 'unemployed youth who have passed class X'. Puttanpal takes this opportunity on his brother's name saying that he is taking the loan to open a shop.

But basically he plans to stack up commodities for three years, so they can save the money and pay off the loan later. But what's suppose to be a good idea, turns a little messy when an honest inspector (Zakir Hussain) bolts from the blue to inspect the shop.

Though the story is very good, the director could have worked on it far better than what he presented. The plot seems to be just ridiculous. Who on earth would stack commodities for three years?? The last time we checked, every product came with an expiry date.

Though the film has a great sense of humor, it completely fails to impress only because of the storyline.

The characters in the film have done a good job, not to forget Sanjai Mishra, he is always on top of his game. Those who played supporting roles add laughter to the film here and there as well.

While the movie ends, it yet again doesn't make sense as the police officials slip into the tears of the family being financially helpless against inflation, the flick dissipates. Or are they giving freedom to the group to borrow more and more fraud loans?

Overall, the film is a waste of time and energy!!!
