Superstar Salman Khan is best known for his action films and as a host for reality shows on television. But this time, the actor will be taking up another task and that too for the first time.
Interestingly, Salman has agreed to host an award function that is the upcoming 8th Renault Star Guild Awards 2013. Since the actor has a unique way of charming the audiences, he is going to apply the same technique to woo the guests at the award ceremony as well.
The event will also showcase performances by several actors. It was indeed a surprise for all the organizers when Salman agreed, as the actor doesn't even go up on stage to receive his awards, let alone host the event.
For now the actor will start work on his brother Sohail Khan's film titled 'Mental' and then 'Kick' directed by Sajid Nadiadwala.
