Salman Khan's appeal challenging his conviction and jail term of five years involving the 2002 Hit and Run case is to be finally heard by the Bombay High Court on July 30, 2015.

A sessions court, on May 6th had convicted Salman in the case and sentenced him to 5 years imprisonment on various counts including culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The freak accident killed one person and injured four others who were sleeping alongside a pavement outside a bakery in Bandra that fateful day on September 28, 2002.
