The charming and young actor, Sam Worthington turns 36 today. Taking over so many avatars, this talented actor has come a long way.

Sam was born in England, but he grew up in Australia. During his teens, his father sent him away with some money to live on his own. He started off doing odd jobs in contruction. During that time, he auditioned for the National Institute of Dramatic Art and was accepted with a scholarship.

He started his career in the movie 'Somesault' where he played the lead character. He also starred in the Australian retelling of 'Macbeth'.

Worthington has featured in hit films like 'Avatar', 'Terminator Salvation','Clash of the Titans' and its sequel 'Wrath of the Titans'.
