18th January 2012

Shooting for "Vettai" in rural areas of Tamil Nadu has made Sameera Reddy to fall in love with village roles. 'I will be happier if I get to act rural characters in my forthcoming films,' says the dusky beauty.

Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Sameera is a pan-Indian actress now, thanks to her popularity in Kollywood, Bollywood and Bengali cinema, besides Tollywood. In Tamil, she shot to fame playing a urban girl in "Vaaranam Aayiram" and "Aasal".

'The beauty of rural Tamil Nadu impressed me a lot. I would like to shoot again in southern villages. For that I am looking forward for village woman characters,' says the "Nadunisi Naaygal" actress.

Buzz is that she would be Vijay's heroine in Gautham Vasudev Menon's "Yohan Adhyayam Ondru". 'There is nothing official about it. The director has to announce who are the members of the cast and crew of his film,' says Sameera, without confirming the news.
