A glance at Pulkit Samrat's challenging and experimentative roles

The very charming and versatile actor Pulkit Samrat turns a year older as he celebrates his birthday today 29th December 2015.

Pulkit made his acting debut with the 2012 film 'Bittoo Boss' where he played the role of a wedding videographer from Punjab who is young, charming, ingenious calling himself a "Sesky Video Shooter" and although the film didn't do well at the box-office, Pulkit received recognition for his acting prowess.

Post his debut he starred in the 2013 comedy 'Fukrey' where he played the role of Hunny aka Vikas Gulaati, one amongst his many other pals, who are based in Delhi and who come together to make some easy money. This film proved to be a turning point for the talented actor as he was critically praised for his performance in the film and the film too did very well at the box-office.

In the 2014 film 'O Teri' Pulkti played the role of Prantabh Pratab aka P P, journalist and this time though the film failed, Pulkit was praised for his performance.

In the 2015 comedy drama 'Dolly Ki Doli' Pulkit played the role of Robin Singh, a cop who is after a conwoman who swindles all rich men off their wealth. 

In the recently released drama 'Bangistan', Pulkit played the role of Praveen Chaturvedi, a suicide bomber who embarks on a suicide mission for some religious causes and was lauded by the critics for his performance.

Having said so much, there is simply no doubt that Pulkit Samrat is surely one of the most charming, versatile and talented actors we have in the industry today. He has proved his worth already although being only a few films old and there is no imagining just how far he might scale the mountain of success in Bollywood in the near future.
