Prabhu Solomon, who produced 'Myna' under the banner Shalom Studios, is now producing a new film. This new film is titled 'Saatai'. The film is based on the saying that 'teaching profession is noble' and that 'profession should be done with utter dedication'.  Samuthirakani, who had donned key roles in 'Subramaniapuram' and 'Eesan' is the hero of the story.

Samuthirakani had also directed the film 'Nadodigal'. Thambi Ramaiah, who won the National Award for acting in 'Myna', is donning an important role in this film. A new face is debuting as a young hero in this film. A Kerala beauty is donning the heroine's role. Jeevan is handling the camera, while D Imman composes the music for the lyrics penned by Yugabharathy. M Anbalagan, who is a film institute student and protégé of Prabhu Solomon, is directing this film. Prabhu Solomon and John Max are jointly producing this film. Dharani is the co-producer of this film. The shooting of the film is to commence on the 20th of July.
