Rajnikanth is being discharged from Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital in a few days but he has to stay in Singapore for some time for periodical checkups. Rajni's family has rented an apartment in Singapore because of this. Latha Rajnikanth and his daughters will be staying with Rajnikanth. A few days back, Rajnikanth spoke to director K S Ravikumar on the phone and he told him that he will be discharged from the hospital soon and also enquired about the progress of the film 'Raana'. K S Ravikumar replied, "Take care of your health. We will commence the shooting after you are fully recovered."

Meanwhile, Superstar's fans are too anxious to catch up with their matinee idol but the actor is yet to decide whether he will be taking rest in Singapore, some other country or fly back to Chennai. If he opts to return to Chennai, he might not get the prescribed rest as he will be swamped by fans and visitors.
