Known for his generosity and spirit towards social work, Sanjay Dutt has taken a similar step in Pune's Yerawada jail too.

All thanks to the actor who has influenced his jail inmates to donate their one day's wages for the flood victims in Kashmir.

The actor has personally requested the prison authorities to send the collected amount to the Prime Minister's relief fund as early as possible.

On May 16, 2013, Dutt surrendered himself before the TADA court in Mumbai and is serving his 3.5 years imprisonment.
