Sarah Jessica Parker must have "every present wrapped" by December 16.
Sarah Jessica is mom to nine-year-old James Wilkie and 24-month-old twins Tabitha and Marion.
She and husband Matthew Broderick try to stay organised to ensure that Christmas runs smoothly.
"I'm a huge fan [of Christmas]! Though I will say having three children makes Christmas come round very quickly each year and there is a lot of preparation," she said in an interview with the British edition of Hello!
"I like to think that the children can come downstairs and have this really traditional, old-fashioned experience. And they all believe in Santa Claus still, which is really nice. I'm a working mom, so I try to set a date by which everything is done, so by 16 December every present has to be wrapped and that way I can take it easy rather than turn into this hysterical person."
The star has some plans ready for the holiday.
She firmly believes that the festive season is a time for families to come together.
"It's usually just us, then we go to my mother's the day after Christmas with all my brothers and sisters. She always makes eggnog from scratch, with raw eggs and all," she explained.
"On Christmas Eve, family or friends will drop by for cocktails and we try to get to bed at a decent hour so when the kids wake at dawn, we're prepared."
