Aamir Khan, who always chooses to release his films in Christmas won't have any release in 2015. Thus, his competitor, Shah Rukh Khan is eyeing for this spot for his next.

'Chennai Express' director, Rohit Shetty's next venture with SRK is yet to start; however, the duo is planning to the release it in Christmas this year.

A source says, "Rohit wants to release his film on Christmas as the other big dates of the year are already taken. If that happens, this film will clash with Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani."

The film will go on floor in March 2015. The source further added, "Shah Rukh and Rohit have finalised things and he is planning to release the film on the occasion of Christmas but it depends on how the project shapes up."
