(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sarah Jessica Parker is planning to splash out on a $21 million apartment in New York, it has been reported.

The 45-year-old actress and her husband Matthew Broderick had reportedly been on a quest for more than a year to find the perfect home for their three children eight-year-old son James, and their 17-month-old twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha.

Now Sarah Jessica seems to have settled on an impressive duplex apartment in the Upper West Side. While it has been reported the couple have already signed a contract, a source close to the stars insists it isnt a done deal yet.

The apartment is in an exclusive area of the city and is believed to have attracted interest from a number of interested parties.

"There aren't many apartments this big, with eight bedrooms, on Central Park West that are on the market. In fact, there aren't any at all," a broker told The New York Post.

The accommodation was recently owned by philanthropist Laurie Tisch and the building also houses Lorne Michaels, a producer on American television show Saturday Night Live.

Along with eight bedrooms, the apartment is thought to have a 32 ft living room and 10.5 ft ceilings.

Sarah Jessica is believed to have been impressed by the layout and dcor in the property and believes it will be a great, spacious place for her young brood to grow up.
