(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Lopez cant believe how fast her children are growing up.

The 41-year-old singer-and-actress gave birth to twins Max and Emme in 2008. She took some time off to raise her children, before landing a role on The Back-Up Plan and joining the judging panel of American Idol. Jennifer admits the time has flown since her kids were born and she spent the recent festive holiday in the US thinking about all the things that have happened in the past 12 months.

"Over this Thanksgiving week, I was sitting outside and reflecting on how fast this year had passed," Jennifer told UsMagazine.com. "Watching your kids get bigger - my babies, how much they've grown in a year!"

The star who is married to singer Marc Anthony - still cant believe Max and Emme will turn three in February and she is delighted with how they are developing as individuals.

Jennifer has also been reflecting on her own personal growth and even though she has enjoyed international success and is one of the biggest stars in the world, she still feels a strong connection to her roots. She is proud of how far she has come, but Jennifer has remained down to earth and will always consider the New York neighbourhood where she grew up as her home.

"No matter where I wake up... I'm just always right there in the Bronx," she explained. "I never miss the Bronx because it's always with me. I guess I'm always going to be Jenny From The Block!" (C) Cover Media
