Saravanan to work with Ram Charan Teja

22nd February 2012

Young Telugu actor Ram Charan has bagged a bilingual. To be directed by Saravanan of "Journey" fame, the movie, which is touted to be an action adventure, will hit the floors soon. It will be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil.

If sources are to be believed, Arya was initially roped in to play the lead role. But he walked out of the project due to some difference of opinion. Following this Dhanush was set to come on board.

'However, since this being a bilingual, director Saravanan felt that Dhanush might not be apt for the role, since he is less popular in Tollywood. So he finally settled for Ram to play the protagonist,' sources say.

Saravanan made his directorial venture with "Journey", which is the dubbed version of Tamil film "Engeyum Eppodhum". He is a former associate of ace director A R Murugadoss of "Stalin", "Tagore" and "Ghajini" fame.
