(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Arnold Schwarzenegger has filed a new response to Maria Shriver's divorce filing.

The former California Governor had initially signed paperwork which would have denied his wife of 25 years spousal support and payment of her attorney's fees.

But he has either had a change of heart or gone over his papers more carefully as he has now filed a revised response.

Sources close to The Terminator star stated he did not read the papers before signing them and did not know that his lawyer had moved to block the financial aid to this estranged wife, TMZ claims.

The change of heart comes as Arnold tweeted words of support for his youngest son Christopher after the 13-year-old reportedly suffered a collapsed lung, broken bones and broken ribs in a recent surfing accident.

"Thanks for all your support for Christopher. It means a lot to me & to him," Arnold posted on his Twitter page. "He's doing much better & we'll have him back at full speed soon (sic)." (C) Cover Media
