August 31, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Stone Temple Pilots and ex-Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland will soon be launching his own and new men's clothing line called 'Weiland' for English Laundry. He would be launching them in Canada.
Explore Music's Alan Cross will be sitting down with Weiland and will chat about everything of STP and much more; the chat would take place in a Rock N Roll fashion. This interview will commence promptly at 2:30 p.m. to be followed by an English Laundry fashion show.
Weiland says that English Laundry is a collaboration with the famous Britain based Laundry designer, Christopher Wicks. Mr. Wicks debuted at the MAGIC trade show that took place in August 2009. This collection features a variety of rock - inspired woven's, pants, vests, t-shirts, hats, ties and even scarves.
Weiland for English Laundry combines the characteristic style as well as the high quality of the English Laundry with the design sparkle of the fashionable Scott, who is now backing STP. Scott says that he always wanted to come up with his own clothing line for men.
As we all know, this rockers has a keen and astute sense of fashion and has always been quite dashing on and offstage. He is perhaps one of the most fashionable rock stars of the 21st century.
He further reveals that legends like David Bowie and Keith Richards (Rolling Stones guitarist) in a way inspired him in his sense of style.
