The 47-year-old singer has been in the music industry for 20 years, bursting onto the scene in 1990 with the international hit Crazy. Seal has attributed his longevity to his wife, German model Heidi whom he married in 2005, claiming the two are linked by an unwavering dedication to one another.

With kids and having a partner like Heidi, it helps to simplify things. It is a pretty crazy industry that we are involved in and you have to have an unbreakable bond with your partner, he revealed.

Seal has three biological children, five-year-old Henry, three-year-old Johan and one-year-old Lou, and has officially adopted Heidis six-year-old daughter Leni. Becoming a father has had a huge effect on a man raised by a foster family from an early age.

When you become a parent you just do the best you can. And it makes you look at your own parents and realise maybe it wasnt always easy for them. My foster parents never made me feel like I was any different. In those crucial and formative years I had good role models, he added. (C) Cover Media
