(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ray Winstone finds working with his family tough, as he usually only thinks of himself on set.

The actor teamed up with his daughter Lois Winstone on movie Fathers of Girls, about a man who has to deal with his daughter moving away to university. When something unexpected happens to her, he begins to delve into her life and finds things he doesnt like.

Ray admits working so closely with Lois was strange, as it made the set a totally new place for him.

Its quite difficult, he said. Usually on a set youre worrying about yourself but when youre working with your daughters and youre looking at them and you just want them to be great.

He was blown away by Lois performance though, and still feels proud whenever he sees their scenes. He thought the role was a good fit for her as it wasnt the usual part given to girls, something he has strong feelings about.

Theres directions that women are pushed in sometimes, where they want them to be bubbly and joking around and looking great and glamorous and sexy but shes got a great quality about her, which is something I admire and love, so for me watching that there Id forgotten how good she was in that scene, he said, after seeing them acting together.
