(Cover) - EN Showbiz - New details about Sean Penn's girlfriend Shannon Costello have been revealed.

Participating in a string of recent romances, including a short tryst with actress Scarlett Johansson that ended earlier this year, Sean has a new partner in his life. The 51-year-old actor has been seen out several times since July with Shannon, the former communications director of charity J/P Haitian Relief Organisation.

Besides charity work, Shannon is also involved in news and documentary-related Hollywood media. She has worked in production for Davis Guggenheim's documentary Waiting for Superman, at ABC News' programme 20/20 and is set to be a producer for Ron Howard's newest film Under The Banner of Heaven, which is currently in development.

Sean and Shannon had several romantic jaunts across America in July and August. They have been spotted snuggling on the beaches of Malibu, California, dining at famed restaurant Nobu in Los Angeles and having a romantic meal in Miami, Florida.

In the wake of several natural disasters including devastating hurricanes, Sean spent some time working with J/P to assist citizens of Haiti in their recovery. Sean and Shannon met through philanthropic work in 2009 and became friends.
