The American singer-and-actress enjoys perusing regular stores, but always heads straight for the discount corner. Selena thinks its important to think about how much something costs before splashing the cash, and also admitted having a less than glamorous opinion of her own style.

I think I dress like an older woman. Like a boring older woman, she told the Coco Perez website. My fans come up to me and ask me, Where do you shop? they always ask me that, and I always say that every store you go in there is going to be a sale rack. Just go to it. It is like the cheapest stuff and you always find something cute, everywhere.

Selena, 18, added she admires the style of fellow Hollywood actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Natalie Portman. She knows most female celebrities look so good because they are sent free clothes, but says she is always wary about wearing the gifts she receives.

I am very picky to be honest so when they send me stuff usually I get, like, tracksuits that say Juicy on my butt and funny outfits that are comfortable that I wear in my house, but I kind of like to go and bargain shop in regular stores, she explained. (C) Cover Media
