The Brazilian supermodel is married to American footballer player Tom Brady and they have a nine-month-old baby son together called Benjamin.

Prior to her marriage and motherhood the star had dated other people, but is glad she never rushed into marriage or having kids. She believes women need to be certain their partner is right for them before embarking on parenthood. "My son is so beautiful, I love him so much. But before you have children, you have got to make sure you've got a great man. You can't settle for less... someone you love, and someone who has the same beliefs, she advised in an interview with the New York Post.

Gisele also spoke about her role as a parent at a recent womens dinner event, revealing that being a mother isnt always easy.

"I love being a mother... it is challenging. It is different when everything is not about you and your life - now there is someone much more important. It takes some adjusting... But it is so, so wonderful," gushed the beauty. (C) Cover Media
