Sushant Singh Rajput and Dibakar Banerjee's film 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' is yet to hit the screens, but the filmmaker already has an idea of sequel on his mind.
"I am very interested in making 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! 2' because in this film, it's the detective’s his first case. If this film is a success, then I want to make one more and show the audience a new adventure of Byomkesh," said Dibakar.
Slated to release on April 5, filmmaker claims that the film is different from the television series. To justify further in detail he said, "That was a TV serial, and that works differently. A film takes you to a different world."
While praising Dibakar Sushant said, "I've never approached a character like the way I've done in this film…Thanks to the script and thanks to the filmmaker I had in the film, Dibakar Banerjee…he is a genius."
It is based on a fictional character created by Bengali writer Saradindu Bandyopadhyay.
