Shah Rukh Khan continues his legacy in India as well as Pakistan as his box office collection sets a new record in Pakistan. His recently released movie 'Fan' made a huge Rs 50 million in the first three days of the release.
The biggest part of the collection comes from Karachi and Lahore and the audience have even started advance bookings for the next week shows. Shah Rukh seems to be victorious by essaying the double role in the film as he has bagged a huge audience response.
"Shah Rukh is a bankable star and his star power was visible on the first three days of the film's release as all shows have been sold out in Karachi," Nadeem Mandviwala a well known exhibitor, distributor and cinema owner said.
As most of the films have been released in Pakistan, may it be 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' or 'Fan', the Indian filmmakers have realised that Pakistan is the biggest market to promote their products and to make a huge box office collection.
The ban on releasing Indian films in Pakistan was lifted in the tenure of former military ruler general Pervez Musharraf.
