The release of 'Jab We Met' and the break up between Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor co-incidentally collided at an unfortunate phase. Due to the whole break-up gossip, the film got promoted and was a huge hit but they weren't so lucky off-screen as they ended their relationship on an ugly note. Everybody wondered whether they will ever make a comeback on screen. Their next film 'Milenge Milenge' released recently but it was shot before they broke up.

Now there is a strong possibility that the couple may make a striking comeback on-screen. It is reported that Ekta Kapoor's upcoming film 'Once Upon a time in Mumbaai 2' that has Akshay Kumar in lead, will also have Shahid in it. Akshay who will play underworld Dawood Ibrahim's character on-screen, will supposedly romance Kareena Kapoor if she signs the film to play 'Mandakini' (Dawood's love interest). Ekta Kapoor and Director Milan Luthria, since last few days were on lookout for suitable actor who will play Dawood's aide Chhota Rajan in the film and hopefully they have found a perfect match in the versatile Shahid.

Apparently, Shahid and Kareena have already been approached to play the proposed parts in the film. With Kareena almost certain to sign the dotted line, it remains to be seen if her decision remains the same with Shahid now being considered to be a part of the same film.
