(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Shenae Grimes has revealed that she found filming season four of 90210 difficult because of the odd storyline.

The 22-year-old plays Annie Wilson who started off as a good Midwestern girl with family values.

But recently the character has become an escort and seduced a priest.

"Playing Annie this season was really hard for me because I had zero connection to her storyline whatsoever," Shenae bemoaned to Us Weekly.

"To me, it seemed really off-base that my character would even be behaving that way, because she does come from a pretty solid family.

"I couldn't really wrap my head around the thought process behind what was going on so that made it difficult.

"Fortunately the actors who I was working with were amazing, so they kind of helped me connect." (C) Cover Media
