We all know that Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty lost her father Surendra Shetty on October 11, 2016. While the family suffered a huge loss due to his sudden demise, they are now recovering from the shock. The funeral of her father was held on Wednesday, October 12 and many Bollywood celebs like Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan offered their condolences to Shilpa and her family. 

As Shilpa was very much close to her father, she posted a heart warming message on her instagram with a picture of her father. The message reads "Our HERO,Loving and kind in all his ways, Upright and just to the end of his days; Sincere and true, in his heart and mind, Beautiful memories, he left behind. A link in our family chain is broken, He has gone from our home, But not from our hearts. We love u Daddy, you have been the best father , husband, friend and soul...May you Rest in Peace.
