December 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Tamil film actor Shiva is not ready for marriage yet. In a statement to the media, Shiva thwarts all reports that have been circulating in the media in the recent past about his tying the knot with childhood friend Priya. Not only is Shiva surprised, he is also angry at the media for spreading news that is absolutely false. According to Shivas statements, the actor says that Priya is only his friend and nothing more than that, therefore he is very much perplexed about news of his impending marriage to her.

Shiva is currently busy with post-production work of a youth love story titled 16 for the Kollywood screen. The actor also has another project in hand and therefore it is only work which keeps him busy rather than love as reported by the media. And it was such reports which vexed him and forced him to prove his point to the media.

However, Shiva does admit that he is considering marriage, though it may not happen for another two years, by which time he will have completed his pending projects in Kollywood. So is it going to be Priya? Shiva prefers to remain tight-lipped on the name.
